Insulting spam

Spam emails with the subject lines 'You look really stupid richardaholden' and 'what a stupid face you have here richardaholden'

Is it me, or is spam getting more personal these days? I mean, I know it must be frustrating to send me so many emails without getting a response, but there’s no need for this sort of thing.

My “favourites” are the ones for extensions to the male appendage which begin by insulting your size, your abilities as a lover and, basically, your entire membership of the male species.

Always a winner I find: telling a bloke he’s got a small dick.

@ Ross Brown: They don’t seem a good idea, but there’s lot’s of non-spam adverts too that also seem to go for telling you how worthless you are as a human, like implying that you’re some sort of hairy tramp if you have a razor with only three blades instead of four. Or that you have a small penis unless you have a particular brand of car. At least the spam is being explicit about it…

I also liked one I got which promised, richardaholden’s naked video, like that would be tempting for me somehow.

    you have a naked video??!

  4. Richard says:

@ Sally: Oh no. Definitely not.

You can add your associate your picture with your email address at a site called Gravatar, and then when you leave a comment on various websites (including this one), your picture will show up.

You only have to be approved the once: then, the world of commenting on this site is your oyster. Or something.
